For companies that need to know what a competitor did

Three places a rival company shows what changed, and who usually watches each one.

Pricing and plans

A rival SaaS pricing page, a subscription price or a supplier's price list. See when a plan gets more expensive, changes a limit or starts to include something else. For whoever sets prices, and for sales.

Product and releases

The changelog, the release notes or the launch page. Know what a competitor shipped without opening the page every week. For product teams.

Website and offer

The homepage headline, the featured promotion, the commercial terms. Notice when a competitor changes its pitch or its offer. For marketing and for founders.

How it works

Three steps to watch a competitor

Nothing to install. You need the page's link and one sentence saying what to watch.

1

Paste the competitor's page

Any public page that opens without a login: pricing, plans, changelog, homepage.

2

Say what matters and how often to check

Write what you want to follow, like “price and limits of each plan”. Pick how often: every 30 minutes, every hour, every 6 hours or once a day. Each page read uses 1 credit.

3

Get what changed, with the before and after

The alert arrives by email, browser notification, Slack or Discord, and shows the previous value and the new one.

Common questions

Before you start

How often does BriefPanel check the page?

You choose for each page: every 30 minutes, every hour, every 6 hours or once a day. You can change it later.

What does it cost?

You pay for what you use, with no monthly fee: 1 credit = 1 page read. You start with 20 free credits and get 100 more when you confirm your email. After that, 1,000 credits cost $10. Checking one page once a day uses 1 credit a day; if each item on the page has a page of its own, a check can use more, up to a fixed limit.

What if the competitor's site blocks reading?

BriefPanel reads public pages, the ones that open without a login. Some sites block automated access. When that happens the app shows a notice on that page and, if the block continues, pauses its monitoring. Use the free credits to test the pages that matter to you.

Where do alerts arrive?

By email (right away or as a summary), browser notification, Slack or Discord. You choose in the settings.

What happens when credits run out?

Monitoring pauses and resumes on its own when you add credits.
